Trendy Tuesday: Grad Gifting, Gatsby Style

Hello GF&G fans!I It’s Maggie, the newest member of the Grand Frames team! Today we are introducing our new weekly trends blog. Katie, Elissa, and I spend way too much time surfing the blogs and reading magazines to make sure we are keeping up on all of the current trends so we can give the best style and creative advice to our customers. Here we will introduce, revisit, and bring together things that inspire us and how to integrate it into daily life!

As summer gets closer, graduation season is in full swing! When picking gifts for your favorite grads, why not incorporate this spring’s most talked about literary classic: The Great Gatsby. Not only is Gatsby close to my heart because F. Scott Fitzgerald is from St. Paul, but who doesn’t love seeing Leonardo DiCaprio on the big screen in pastel suits?!

 January can be cold and long. But we tend to look on the bright side around here and the bright side is those of us in the boutique world get OUR chance to shop this month!

We admit it, the cooler temps have been welcomed around here. Maybe it’s our love of boots, maybe our love of nesting. Whatever the reason, fall is fun! We have ordered tons of new product in our gift area and even added a few (okay, more than a few) new custom frame options. In addition to the shopping we can’t seem to stop, it’s back to school around here. We are happily busy framing art projects and fall family photos.
